Today's tarot card is the Ten of Cups, often considered to be the ultimate fulfillment card, and one which radiates happiness. How does this fit in with the Libra Moon and today's astrological aspects?

In the Rider Waite version of the Ten of Cups, we see a happy family, with their home and land in the distance. The parents are embracing, and raising their arms to the sky in thanks or celebration; the two children play happily. Above them, a rainbow is filled with the ten cups they have earned.

It's a blissful scene. And today's Libra Moon can and does bring bliss. There's not a great deal which can rock the harmony today - since the only astrological aspects in play are relatively minor, the Libran energy is quite pure and radiant. It's a feel-good day.

I'm reminded, however, that rainbows appear when there is rain around. Nothing lasts for ever, whether it's horrendous or wonderful - change is always on the way. Today's Moon is in quincunx aspect to both Venus and Neptune in Pisces, and the easy going, light-hearted Libran energies are uncomfortable with the need to examine life on a deeper level. The Ten of Cups is here today to encourage us to enjoy this peace and quiet - but to not get complacent.

The astrological energies are building, and we're getting closer to the much anticipated cardinal grand cross; it's on its way. Make the most of the calm before the storm, but don't expect it to last forever.
